B2B Research Verification

Mollecule sells research-grade materials only to qualified business and institutional research customers for in-vitro research use only.

We do not sell to the general public for personal, consumer, human, or veterinary use. Every purchaser must complete age verification, create a researcher account, and provide business details before checkout.

Who may purchase

Access is limited to B2B research customers, including:

Commercial laboratories and research businesses
Academic or institutional research groups
Qualified researchers purchasing on behalf of an organization authorized to conduct in-vitro research

All products remain subject to our Research Use Only Policy and FDA Disclaimer. Materials are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, clinical application, or any use that would cause them to be regulated as drugs, devices, or food.

Age verification (21+)

Visitors must confirm they are 21 years of age or older before entering the storefront. Checkout is limited to researcher accounts, and account creation requires a second 21+ confirmation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from, or sell to, anyone under 21.

Account creation details

Before a customer can checkout, they must create a researcher account. We collect and review:

Legal first and last name
Email address used for account access and order communications
Confirmation that the purchaser is 21 years of age or older
Acknowledgment of research-use-only terms

Account credentials must be accurate. We may suspend or terminate access for incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading registration information.

Business details

Researcher registration also requires business and research details so we can confirm the purchaser is a B2B research customer:

Business, laboratory, or institution name
Employer Identification Number (EIN)
Research field (for example cell culture studies, protein analysis, biochemical assays, academic research, or commercial laboratory work)

These details are stored with the customer record and used to verify eligibility, process orders, and enforce our research-use-only requirements.

Research-use-only acknowledgment

At account creation, customers must confirm that products are for research use only and are not for human or veterinary use. They must also agree to our Terms of Service, Research Use Only Policy, and FDA Disclaimer.

Checkout access

Signed-out shoppers cannot proceed to checkout. The cart directs them to register a researcher account first. After registration, the customer signs in to complete a purchase. This keeps checkout limited to verified B2B research accounts.

Order review and enforcement

We may review orders and account details before fulfillment. We may refuse, delay, or cancel an order, or suspend an account, if:

Account or business details are missing, inconsistent, or appear inaccurate
The order appears inconsistent with legitimate laboratory or institutional research use
The purchaser appears to be under 21 or a consumer rather than a B2B research customer
We suspect misuse, diversion to human or veterinary use, or a policy violation
